We regard this as one of the most important processes within the unique AFC business model. During the matching process, our experts analyse every profile, every component and every assembly across all relevant manufacturing stages. The respective requirements profile is then matched against the extensive pool of machinery and equipment within our production network. The aim is:

to identify the most suitable equipment for each individual processing step, as well as
the most efficient production chain for the entire product, including logistics.

Metal Contract Hedging

With AFC Metal Contract Hedging, we offer you the opportunity to lock in large-volume aluminium contracts of 100 tonnes or more through a direct ‘back-to-back’ hedge on the exchange. This guarantees the price for deliveries within a specified period – regardless of market fluctuations.

This process provides you with a reliable basis for cost calculation and protects you from the often high volatility of aluminium commodity prices during dynamic market phases. A swift and targeted approach is essential for the successful conclusion of price hedging.
